Nicholas Hope and Jessie Jones are a writing team. Both from the South, they have primarily focused on playwriting. Jones helped write the Off-Broadway play Dearly Departed and co-wrote the film adaption Kingdom Come, which starred LL Cool J and Whoopi Goldberg. Hope won the Texas New Playwrights' Award early in his career, and served as Director of Casting for the Theatre Communications Group in New York, The Goodman Theatre in Chicago, Illinois and for ABC Television in New York and Los Angeles, California. Together, they wrote two episodes of Teacher's Pet.
They now write most of their works with a third partner, Jamie Wooten, and the trio have worked on numerous plays and for television, including Nickelodeon and Fox.
